What's wrong with changing the schedule before the season starts? Nothing. (edited to add: as you can see from my first post, that's what I did do. "Before the season starts", especially if on the first few days of the
year is "preseason", right?) Even if there was something wrong with doing this, at the very least, it should put up a message to the effect of "Sorry, you cannot edit schedules at this point in the year. Please try again at " X, Y, or Z, and then not let you change the schedule. Letting the user screw up the game is... er... how do I put this mildly... not good programming. Ever hear of error handling?
