You may have spotted the problem RWD59. I just found my ace pitcher on the free agent list after one day of the World Series and one day earlier he was not.
It must have counted service time for post-season. His card shows MLB service time of 5 years and 1 day and secondary roster service time as 6 years 100 days.
We've got to have far better warning about this. When you check to make sure everyone is signed before the trading deadline, before post-season, before the off-season, and one more day can throw them off your team -- this is really making life difficult.
We get so many other e-mails, why can't we get a player e-mail saying their contract is coming up this year and they would like to talk? Previous version of OOTP did this.
Or, better yet, fix the service days so they're not counting in post-season like the real MLB. Then when you check before post-season, you're safe in trusting the list.
