Then I sim to the winter meetings, happen to look at the front office, notice a sub-menu that I've never seen before ("possible free agents") and see several top-notch stars are unsigned despite what the other screen showed all season (team/roster/entire organization/financial view/sorted by years left.

Oddly, I got them signed and got confirming e-mails, even though they really should have gone to the free agent draft.

I have no idea how I could miss this -- or I'm getting conflicting info from two different views.

I tested the new patch on an existing league. I may start a new league to test this, but, frankly, I'm losing interest in the game.

It's too much work; I keep screwing up leagues with these oversights; and I'm getting tired of starting over.

I'm just one customer -- a long-time and loyal one, but, frankly, PureSim has passed you by in fun, simplicity, solo play and the in-game view and simple ways to use keyboard shortcuts to call plays, change lineups, customize stadiums. Their sounds work and are relevant to game play, the inflight ball view is wonderful, the PbB text actually tells you what the player has done that season and in that game, you can see the catcher ratings, you only need one game screen to see everything and the view is of your favorite stadium without tremendous clutter and an inability to see all of the play by play text.

Sorry I've gone off on a rant. Back to the point, something is wrong with free agency or it's just too darn complex for me to master. I'm hoping you can fix it and I might hang in for one more patch. But something needs to be done about the screens, info and views for solo players or I'm moving on to the competition. At the moment, they have finally passed you and it's sad because Markus has attempted the most detailed, most incredible version of a baseball text sim game.

Is it possible that since you simmed to the Winter meetings that you are now in the "next season", thus players who will become FA at the end of the coming season are now showing up on these screens. My guess is that had you not signed these guys that popped up right after the WS, they would have remained on your team until the end of the coming season. If this is the case, there IS still an issue with the screens not jiving.
