In post-season 1941, the lists remain the same. On 11-19-41, the date that unsigned players become eligible free agents, the list of previous players disappear and a new list appears, just as sporr speculated above.

However, here's the weird glitch with Pettit. He was signed via arbitration, appears on the 11-19-41 list (which you would think would be showing his new, next year of being a free agent). However, where is he on the roster a day later? Gone. Searching for his name, the transaction history shows he's a free agent, unsigned by any team.

I lost him, just as oddly as I've lost the others, and I swear I cannot pin down why and how.

I have seen this issue as well. I thought I was just crazy!
