Strangely when catchers get released they show up on the free agent screen as CF's sometimes and catchers sometimes. None of them have ratings at the CF position. It is possible that the position changes to CF while in the minors just before or during their release. I can't catch exactly when this happens.

Is it possibly possible that somewhere in the code the program is just looking at the first letter to determine position rather than the first two?
