Vick lost 2 out of his last 3 bouts via 9th round KO by Bob Foster in August 1968 and 4th round TKO to Jeff Merritt in May 1970. All the rest of his bouts went the distance for decisions as he himself scored no knockouts.
After a 4 round victory in his first career fight in May 1956 there is then a 2 year break in his boxrec file before he fights a 6 round draw on June 8th 1958 with Bob Cleroux who is 4-0-0 in his early career. Three weeks later on June 29th Vick and Cleroux fight a rematch, this time with the Canadian winning an 8 round decision. Not quite 3 months later Vick looses a 10 rounder to Tommy (Hurricane) Jackson. From the rest of 1958 through July 1960 vick compiles a modest 7-3-2 record. Most noteworthy opponents were two wins over a Don McAteer(19-10-2,10KO) and a 6 round draw with Leslie Borden In July 1960.
After the Borden fight we don't see Vick again until May 1966 when he then 5 times in 1966, 3 times in 1967, twice in 1968 and once each in 1969 and 1970. All without much success going only 3-10-0. The wins were over a Barry O'Neil, Al Brooks and Bob Felstein. Lossed mounted up against Lee Batts, Jerry Pate, Lee Carr, Ron Marsh, bob Foster twice, Lou Hicks, Chuck Wepner , Johnny Griffin and finally to Jeff Merritt.
