Very good question.
Verno Phillips has one from his fight against Teddy Reid and I saw the fight and belt being given to him but I don't think I ever heard where it came from. Canadian Adrian Diaconu has one.
Here is a quote from FightNewsCanada regarding Sebastien Demers beating Mamadou Thiam for his belt. "Saturday’s Demers victory netted him something called the Trans American Boxing belt. For the occasion, Mamadou Thiam who was born in Senegal and flew in from France was hailed as being from Las Vegas Nevada. We believe the belt to be a North-American belt of sorts and with any luck it will provide us with something the NABF, the NABO, the NABA can’t. No, I have no idea what that something is. We do know it’s a blue belt emblazoned with the letters “TAB”. I remember TAB being a cola with just one calorie, and like the drink, I believe the belt lacks a little substance. Better they rearrange the letters to honour the greatest opponent in boxing history, TBA. To date, we know of no press releases to tell us what this organization is all about that has so gallantly stepped up and filled the void, making sure that no boxer goes without a belt. We know of no ratings. We know of no purpose."
I was down in Montreal and someone thought it might be a belt set up in that area since Quebec is a real hotbed for fighting in Canada right now but no proof that is true.
If someone finds out, they can let me know as well.
