... from the 1940s: Johnny Virgo (with bad pic), Eddie Halligan, Abe Denner and Johnny Dell, all contenders and victims of Willie Pep who had respectable records. Halligan recorded 171 bouts, winning 95 and having the unusual distinction of as many draws as losses (38 of each). Anyone have pics of Denner, Halligan or Dell?
