A couple quick questions about running a historical league.

1) Why is there a draft after the season starts? Should that be moved to Nov 1st? Who is being drafted in that draft. I think it's called the ML First Year draft (I'm not in front of the game right now).

2) When a player is drafted where is he placed on the roster? Are they all put into the minor leagues automatically?

3) With financials turned on will salaries automatically rise with inflation (if I start running in 1901 will the salaries be in the millions be the time I get to 2006 and beyond)?

4) If auto expantion is turned on then can you still do other types of expantion? If I wanted to add a Japanese league later could I do that?

1. Are you talking about the default draft date in June? That represents the new rookies coming into the league. It's better to change this date to Nov. 1 before you start simming. Be careful about changing it later or you'll end up with duplicate players.

2. If you have added minors to your league, that is where the draft pick will go. If not, it will go to a reserve roster.
