HW champ for 3 years. Has a sadistic streak, enjoys fighting bums and carrying them to punish them. Razor like jab. Doesn't follow up when opponents are helpless. Dirty fighter, will foul. Dislikes Holt. Hires him as a sparring partner to punish him.

Bart Holt
HW 2 yrs earlier was a campus hero at running back. Poor kid in large family from a PA mining town. Accused of throwing a football game. Seen fighting a Mexican for $50 in a Mexican fight club. Knocked down in 2nd. New fo fighting but has good instincts. Hits New York after 25 wins. Gets a lot of pre-lim bouts. Viewed as a heel fans pay to see him get beat. 197 pounds. Good jab. Can work body. Hired as sparring partner by O'Keefe. Drops O'Keefe while sparring. O'Keefe fouls him afterword. Brutally beaten by mob goon Monte Grosser at behest of O'Keefe. Beats O'keefe for title drops him iearly in first with a swarming savage attack, and finishes him.
