bp, thanks for the advice... after a bit more trial and error i have concluded the following.
Scroll bars vs pages change didnt help
when i opened up a new game the crash did not occur, which tells me something happened with the saved game... maybe a corrupt file that has something to do with player lists...
I will attempt to delete the game as instructed above and re-try...
it is a fictional league that I created... i really hope that i do not have to restart the game and start over...
