The point I think you missed is that when Chris rated the fighter he rated him based on what was on boxrec at the time (in October of 2005 I might add). Boxrec changes constantly esp. on the lesser known fighters from long ago.
If the guys who rate fighters (for free I might add) on the board had to do exhausting research on every fighter no one would rate fighters. As is boxrec is the best source we have, therefore most rate based on what is on that site.
As always if you don't care for someone's rating you can always change it. In this game it is easy to do, you don't need to take a 6 week course in excel to change one player.
One a final note ... I personally don't see anything on his updated boxrec info that would raise him from a 2 rating. Only two other fighters on his record have TBCB ratings .. he lost to a 4 and beat a 1.
