I disabled the debug mode that I use to proof the News Stories and PBP.

It probably had nothing to do with the problem, but at least it is one variable I don't have to worry about now.

I did a lot of work dragging players and clearing out the DH lineups and depth charts and I edited the lineups and depth charts of several teams.

I had no crashes.

Then I played out 3 games with no crashes.

One good thing has come out of this problem -- I now back up after every game.
