If you try to duplicate reality then your always gonna be dissappointed. Unless you know the exact lineups, weather conditions, pitching changes etc etc.
Besides its already happened anyway. As long as Babe Ruth as a high pctg chance of hitting close to 60 home runs in 1927 im ok with it. If he gets hurt thats just the breaks. Its only one league. I can always run another. Now if he constantly hits only 15 homers when i get to 1927 then i would be more irritated with that result than having him get injured. Thats why i perfer to leave the injuries alone. Its too tempting to do it for one player and then another and then another.

Well, I do only believe in editing with CEIs, if it is one that is season wiper outer . Well, tough. Even if it is a player over 30 or 35, I might not change it if CEI. But, if a guy is 21 or 22, there just not many injuries that will stop them from at least making an attempt. Might take 2-3 years to get healthy enough to try but it will be tried.

But if 27 Ruth blows out his knee on opening day ending his season....well, tough poopie.
