Career: 1973-1982
Here are the only two pic (both are mediocre-at best) of Ruby. He actually won the U.S. Lightweight championship in 1977. I saw him fight Adolpho Viruet at the Dunn Center in Elizabeth, NJ back in 1982. At that point the Snake didn't have too much venom left in his fangs, and Viruet cleaned his clock for ten rounds. Always thought Adolpho had the potential to be a champ---fought too infrequently.
