Our draft was on June 15, and he used Getch's draft utility to do the picks. It released players off of most teams, so our commissioner went in by hand and added each player back to the team in which drafted them.
The only thing I didn't try and didn't know 'how' to try would be with the draft date being June 15 and if using the utility, having the players released, and then having our commish re-assign them manually himself would have caused issues.

I'm concerned about the players being released from the teams in the first place. Were only recently drafted players released? Does this mean that you tried to import pre-draft team file exports from the 15th after running the draft?
Is June 20th the first day of your new sim, or is it somewhere in the middle?
