I would prefer it only assign the positions of the imported season. It would save me the work of having to double check every player. That is time consuming.

I forgot which player it was but he did play two positions in '69 and played over 60 games at both. His primary position he had around 90 games but that position wasn't even listed, only his second position. I believe it was also a situation of a 1B/OF.

Also along those lines if their error rating was determined by the import season. Players like Jesus Alou had a very good error rating for 1969 when his actual fielding % was in the low .900's
