DEAR BOXING FRIENDS:
I am very sadden to report that former Lightweight Champion (my friend) Mando Ramos has passed away at his home in San Pedro, he was 59 years old & youngest ever to win the lightweight crown (2-18-69) ... regained it almost "exactly" three years later (2-19-72) ... there is more - but I need my space today to grieve with this ... my sincerest prayers are with his family ... may God bless his soul in heaven!
