And I don't know if it was supposed to be addressed in any patches, but the 9.12 version of the game is still assigning home field advantage in the playoffs wrong.

I won the AL East with my Yankees, with a record of 88-74. My first round opponent was the Texas Rangers, who won the wild card with an identical record of 88-74. The Rangers got home field advantage.

This wouldn't be quite such a crucial situation in a 7 game series, but in a 5 game series it's very hard to overcome.
