My game has only crashed a few times. But when it did, it was usually during a save, and then bye-bye saved game. I think some folks are experiencing crashes pretty frequently, but that wasn't the case with me. I just had a handful of really nasty crashes.
Too soon to tell if this executable completely resolves crashes for me, but so far, so good.
I'm assuming this executable isn't designed to fix an already destroyed save or bad backup, only prevent further crashes from happening.
