Not in the numbers, but in how it affects the player's initial setup for usage. You see, one file will set a pitcher as a SP, and another as a RP. Why is this important? As well, each file will assign different hitter 'types' to a player. I watched Mantle get made a 'Normal' hitter by one file, and then a 'Pull' hitter by the other.
So I'd like to know what is going on here. The potential numbers don't seem to be different (I didn't check current year ratings), so I am guessing that isn't 'off'. But this RP/SP thing stinks.

Interesting. So what is the reason for having these two different DB's in the first place? Have been really curious about that. Does anyone know? Is it for easier usability in the sim or what?
