i think player development would take over when there are no stats.
Im not sure but i was under the impression that you didnt want to use recalc
with player development. Since recalc would give you closer results to what a player did in real life while player development would give you a more of what if scenario. I think the game just calculates the ratings after recalc. Im not sure if it does anything during the season. I wouldnt think so.
Anywyas i beleive it is best to use recalc with rah on because you wont have the ai turning to player development when ther are no stats.
But hey you could always play with
recalc & rah on,
recalc on and rah off,
and both off.
Try 3 different leagues and see which one you like the best.
