UKBaseballFans's note regarding Billy Sullivan helps clarify the identity of the player in the colorized photo recently displayed by Bill II. The player looks like Billy Sullivan and probably is Billy Sullivan, a catcher for the ChicSox in the first decade of the 1900s. Bill II was operating on information I supplied. My error. My source for ChicSox uniforms 1908-1912 did not show a cap matching the one worn in the photo and that led to the misidentification.
