when testing I discovered the default MAL league's split season minors only showed the first round on the display screen until after it was completed and then the second round and champion were displayed; I figured out if you go to the option tab in the league setup that everything would be fixed

are you sure there wasnt a championship round played even though that article was written?

It was BZ#480 and Markus has marked it as Resolved- Later.
