Cameron RU Star of the Week
It was announced today that Sid Cameron was chosen the Ruthlandian Union Player of the Week Award. The Far Mountain center fielder wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers last week, pounding them for a .483 average (14-29) with 1 home run and 8 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. In 2001 Cameron is batting .367 in 42 games with 1 home run and 24 RBIs. Cameron is a recent acquisition by the Redhawks. The 25-year-old outfielder joined the team on July 25.
