Far Mountain, Marston and Ginza Clinch Elite 8 Berths
Three down and five to go. Three teams have clinched spots in the Elite 8 Playoff Series in the Islandian Pro Alliance. Two division winners and one wild card slot have been decided so far. Far Mountain won the Ruthlandian Union North and Marston claimed the Ruthlandian Union South, while the Ginza Ninjas took a wild card spot in the Tycobbian Union.
There are five more playoff positions left to be decided, two division winners and three wild cards. Division leaders South Fork of the TU East and Fairfax of the TU West are down to a magic number of one with three games left on the schedule. Teams in the running for the last wild cards are Forest City, Volusia, Valmara and Sugar Valley in the Ruthlandian Union and Blue Lake, Arlon, Bayview and Cape Coral in the Tycobbian Union.
The first round of the IPA playoffs is named the Elite 8, the second round is the Final Four and the championship series is the Islandian Pro Cup Series. Teams will play a best four-out-of-seven in each round of the Playoffs.
