FROM MY HISTORICAL LEAGUE (at 1886):

Levi Meyerle had a 54 game streak playing for Boston in 1877.

Al Spalding had a 62-8 record in 1875 while playing on the 71-8 Boston team that year. Ironically, the real Boston club started 26-0 and mine started 24-0 that year. This is without recalc or anything on.

Spalding recently got his 500th win, he currently has 508 to lead all players.

-Abner Powell threw a no-hitter on 1885 Opening Day.
