Elite 8 Series Begin Today
For the true baseball fan, playoff baseball is the ultimate experience. The once-in-a-lifetime chance of winning the Islandian Pro Cup Series. Every player is under intense pressure now. Players might come through in the clutch or fail to rise to the challenge. Managers will be analyzed, second-guessed and third-guessed by observers across the Islands, all in the span of a nine-inning match-up or the best-four-out-of-seven series. The best and the luckiest ones will be there to hoist the championship trophy up to the deafening roar of the fans.
It all starts today at a ballpark near you with the Elite Eight Series and these clashes: In the Ruthlandian Union Volusia will be playing at Marston and Forest City travels to Far Mountain, while in the Tycobbian Union it will be South Fork entertaining Blue Lake and Ginza on the road in Fairfax. All series will be the best-four-out-of-seven.
