RU Golden Glove Awards Announced
The super defenders for 2001 have been selected by BNN. The Ruthlandian Union's finest fielders will be recognized at the annual sports awards banquet. The Golden Glove Award trophies will go to this group of stars:
Pitcher: Jesse Balfour - Glasco Athletics (.984 FA)
Catcher: Slingshot McFall - Sugar Valley Rattlers (.999 FA)
First Baseman: J.T. Edmonds - Forest City Lumberjacks (.996 FA)
Second Baseman: Tucker Hill - Colfax Blasters (.979 FA)
Third Baseman: Russ Ferrell - Colfax Blasters (.953 FA)
Shortstop: Pops Keller - Forest City Lumberjacks (.984 FA)
Left Fielder: Ox Beauvais - Glasco Athletics (.996 FA)
