I have always been a big Packer's fan, but, personally my opinion of Favre took a HUGE nosedive a number of years ago. When he was going for the record for most consecutive games played, he had an injured hand and couldn't throw ball any farther than 20-25 yards. However, the fact that the Pack lost (4 or5 in a row???) was immaterial to Favre (and apparently Holmgren). After all, he had a record to break. Ever since then a have seen him for what he is, a very expensive hotdog.
