Universe Questions

I hope to get some good discussion going for this as I'm extremely interested in this aspect of the game. I'm pretty sure I'll be buying this game when I move (...and then get a computer that won't freeze if I try to run it). I just love reading what people have going on with making their own fight cards and such but I wanna know what sort of things you can do.

I think the thing I want to know overall is just this - exactly how well can you simulate being a promoter? I don't, necessarily, want to deal with 'hard work' stuff like having to negotiate contracts or anything tedious like that.

(I just spent like five minutes trying to put into words what I do want to do so I'll try to give an example of what type of game I'd want to run)

What I'd like to do, for example, would be to set up a universe taking up where Saturday's Mosley/Margarito bout left off as Bob Arum/Top Rank. Would I be able to set up other promotional companies like Golden Boy or DKP that would run their own events with their own groups of fighters? For instance, can I set up the upcoming Golden Boy show with Juan Diaz vs Juan Manuel Marquez? Following the Don King Productions show with Nate Campbell vs Ali Funeka would the game possibly set up a unification fight between the winners where the two groups only use their fighters for the undercard?

Meanwhile I, as Bob Arum, am still running my own shows such as the upcoming Cotto/Jennings-Pavlik/Rubio PPV and more importantly putting together new shows for the future such as figuring out what to do with Antonio Margarito now. And are there settings to create the atmosphere of having HBO, Showtime, ESPN, etc. airing the bouts on TV? Basically, I'd like to try to a run a realistic styled universe where every fight might not be a super-fight but if guys get enough nice wins you can create the super-fights. Also, if there are any diaries up on the board that have done a model like this I would love to read it.
