Had you saved the game after simming out your most recent game but before the computer crashed?
Regardless, it sounds as if your .dat files are corrupted in some way. You can try making a backup of your league files, then go in and start deleting leagues one at a time to see if one of them in particular might be causing an error. That would at least narrow down the problem.
