I've been in a lot of leagues, too, and the good ones do this.

What's your definition of "wrecked?" When a team loses a pennant because of an injury snafu which the Commissioner ignores, that's a wreck. What if said season is the cumulation of a five-season stretch of planning and construction, and is the team's only shot at the postseason? At six weeks real-time per season, the Commissioner has just invalidated seven months of an owner's work, because he wouldn't promote a catcher onto a squad which had none; or he wouldn't activate their star slugger in the middle of a sim.

This works well, when the time remaining on someone's injury at the end of a sim is a multiple of seven.

I try to do the little things in my life correctly, my major life priorities aren't the only things I take seriously. Owners dedicate their time and emotions to the leagues we run. I don't waste my owners' investment.

I assure you that I have a real life as rich as you can imagine.
