George "Happy Jack" Ulyett was a noted English cricketer and all-around athlete. It is reported
in Kiwi's with Gloves on that he had boxed in England at some time. Dates and opponents aren't
given. While in New Zealand during James Lillywhite Junior's 1886-18877 tour of Australia and New Zealand.
H was bitten by the boxing glove taking on Professor Jack Stagpole (THe Father of New Zealand pugilism, as a fighter, teacher and trainer)
