BZ 3189: Ground ball %s messed up in draft

Think I've found my first major bug (which lead to me registering finally). From what I've seen looking around the league (using a 2009 MLB start) 55% is a very high GB% in the roster. I haven't seen anywhere near 60%.

Now, nearing my first draft I check out the draft pool. Here's the GB% of the top 6 starting pitchers ranked by potential, with scouting turned off: 70%, 75%, 69%, 62%, 60%, 78%

Holy Groundballs, Batman!

Of the rest of the starters in the draft pool, only one has over 60% and he's at 71%. Its similar with relievers. The top 4 relievers in potential have GB%s of 78%, 68%, 68%, 61%. Then no one else in the draft is over 55% (though 55% would still be very high under normal circumstances).

I don't believe there's a single player in the major leagues that achieves anywhere near a 70% GB% in real life, so clearly these numbers are pretty out of whack. It also likely will lead to top drafted pitchers dominating the league over players that were created in the initial roster. After the league gets populated with these guys it could lead to another deadball era.
