This is a weird one. I play OOTP 10 at 2560 x 1600 resolution. I have an internittent problem starting saved games at that resolution. Occasionally the game will load at 1920 x 1200 max, even though my desktop resolution is set to 2560 x 1600.
I decided to continue the saved game at 1920 x 1200 but the game did not appear in the Load Game menu, even though the particular saved game folder is indeed in the OOTP 10 folder.
I rebooted my pc and tried to load OOTP 10 at 2560 x 1600 but again no luck. I tried one more time and the game finally loaded at 2560 x 1600 and the saved game that was missing while that game loaded at 1920 x 1200 appeared and I was able to continue that game.
Not sure what is going on here but was wondering if it really matters what the desktop resolution is when you save/exit the game in order to load saved games at a later time.
