In modern leagues it's fairly easy but tedious. To be realistic historically is much more difficult. Unless you have stats available that show realistic rates for certain things like DP, walks, K's and so on you are simply guessing.

Using the MLB league totals in the minors doesn't work because the rate at which say triples are hit is different in each minor league, even if they are at the same level.

Since you are already fictional you could just make it up. Something like, hitting 10% less HR but 15% more doubles but more strikeouts. A better steal rate, higher successful steals more WP and passed balls and so on.

Not sure I really answered your question though.
