I tried the "release all players" option, but am having some issues. Part of the issue is that I have a 16-team online league, so I need to create a "fictional" league with 2 leagues of 8 teams each, but I want to seed that inaugural draft with the full 2008 roster set.

1) If I start a "2008 MLB Game", I get the 2008 rosters with all of the minor leagues, but I don't have an option to create a new fictional league.

2) If I start a "Historical League" with 2008 as the year, I can create the Major League 2008 rosters and also create my "Fictional League". When I delete the MLB2008 league and thus release all those players into the FA pool, I can see them from my "Fictional League", but they aren't available for the inaugural draft. They show up as "Free Agents", but do not show up in the inaugural draft pool. They also would all need new contracts, as opposed to being drafted with existing contracts.

It seems odd that there isn't an easy way to seed the inaugural draft with the 2008 rosters. I must just be missing something....
