Exactly. Things can grow very quickly on facebook. Say 100 people here "become a fan" of Out of the Park Baseball. Each of those 100 people have 200-300 friends on facebook. That's suddenly 20,000 - 30,000 more people who might see it.
I don't think it should be the only thing done by any means, but it's free and won't due any harm so why not.
