RU Best Gloves of 2004 Chosen
It's been said that the best offense is a good defense. That's why contending teams are always looking to improve on the defensive side of the game. Keeping runs from scoring is just as good as driving them in. There were three multi-year recipients. Sugar Valley's super catcher Slingshot McFall was named for the fourth straight year, Claxton's fine outfielder Dixie Baker picked up his third trophy and Glasco's gifted second baseman Barry McCord won for the second time.

The top fielders have been chosen in the Ruthlandian Union for 2004. Here are the Golden Glove Award winners:
