He was never a long term solution anyway. I mean, he's a nice stopgap and I appreciate them bringing him back, but he's well past his days as an effective manager. The game is different and the players are WAY different and his methods as a player-manager type just aren't going to work with a team that's not winning like the Jays of old used to.
