Ruthlandian Union Names Top Gloves
Golden Glove Awards are the symbol for defensive excellence, a recognition of the best of the best in defense. Slingshot McFall, Sugar Valley's great backstop, won for the fifth straight year and Elnora left fielder Quincy Peterson picked up his second Gold Glove. All the rest are making the list for the first time.

The Ruthlandian Union Golden Glove Award trophies for 2005 have been awarded to these outstanding fielders:

Pitcher: Ricky Moreno (Volusia Vigilantes)
Catcher: Slingshot McFall (Sugar Valley Rattlers)
First Baseman: Ron Armstrong (Sugar Valley Rattlers)
Second Baseman: Ilya Ivanchuk (Colfax Blasters)
Third Baseman: Charlie Gamble (Middlefield Roosters)
Shortstop: Rick Fargnoli (Ranford Bulls)
Left Fielder: Quincy Peterson (Elnora All-Stars)
Center Fielder: Doyle Dobbs (San Dimas Rancheros)
Right Fielder: Teddy Giacone (Grand City Cybercats)
