We're down to two!
The Duluth Warriors and the Yuma Bulldozers have each found new owners. Now our attention returns to the remaining to vacancies.
- The Canton Longshoremen have opened 2011 with a 10-14 mark. They are just 5 1/2 back of the lead in the Great Lakes Division as well as the 2nd wild card spot, however. There's material to work with here; in the right hands, the Longshoremen can be competitive sooner rather than later.
- The Omaha Cyclones, also playing in the Great Lakes, have started strong at 13-10. Current Sovereign League Player of the Week Narahiko Imada continues to blossom into a young superstar; his potent bat drives the Cyclones' offense. If an incoming owner can acquire pitching to match... watch out for Omaha.
