In this persona, I kept a link to a thread that explained the history of "Dola" for this very opportunity, and when it finally happens, it's no longer in my subscriptions!
Yes, that is what "dola" signifies; it's meant as a courtesy apology for posting one after another. It was named after some guy named Dolamite or Dolansky or something who apparently did so habitually, stringing many posts together which could have been combined in one, in order to build up his post count.
