Yeah, the IPA has been going for quite a time. It is a lot of work. I bit off more than I could chew with a 64-team league to cover and administer. It has been much easier since I stopped controlling all rosters and let the AI do it. It really doesn't do a good job. The AI has benched All-Star players and platooned them with lesser players - that didn't happen with me. It will trade for a star player and then put him on the bench for lesser players.
It is frustrating to me, but I have learned to live with it in order to continue the league and watch how players and teams develop. I really love the IPA. I plan to play 30 years or so this way, Good Lord willing. But I better get busy, I will soon be 70.

I believe you're still using OOTP 9 right? If so, X is a lot better with the rosters, perfect by no means, but better. What I do, that seems to help is edit each manager as well as each team strategy so that all of their player preferences stay right at 50%(there are 20 clicks to the sliders, I keep them at 10) This has helped with the daily stuff like lineups a ton. I also edit each team's in game strategies to one, make them a bit better with their decision making, and two, make them play to a style more like their R/L counterparts.
