i went in to an old solo league and manually inducted a player into the HoF. The baseball card was automatically added. And the graphic for the hall of fame (the trophy) was already on the card.
i haven't checked an all star, but i'm guessing it works the same way.
One nice feature is if you click open, it will open the baseball card in your graphics program (gimp, photoshop, print shop pro, etc) and you can make additional changes.
