Times Poll Picks Colfax and Turon For Pro Cup Finals
In a poll of the major sportswriters and broadcasters in the Islands The Islandian Times reported that the Colfax Blasters and the Turon Typhoons are favored to meet again in the IPA Pro Cup finals. Colfax is expected to whip the Far Mountain Redhawks in the Ruthlandian Union opening round and the Claxton Diamonds in the Final 4 Series. Turon was the choice to upend powerful Fairfax in the Tycobbian Union first round action and to knock off Denton City in the Final 4. Defending Pro Cup champion Colfax is also the favorite to win its second straight IPA crown. The Blasters edged the Typhoons 4 games to 3 in the 2010 Pro Cup Series.
