I have posted an update to the facepack on my FileFront site. This release includes 271 added/updated images, with 258 images replaced or, in cases of mistaken ID, removed. In addition to the
full 1871-2009 facepack, I have uploaded a zip with all of the
updates/additions since the previous facepack release on May 7, as well as an archive of all
files removed from that prior version. I also updated the
missing player list to reflect the latest changes, and finally uploaded individual decade zip files for each decade from 1870-2000. You can access the individual decade files, as well as the rest of my shared files, from the link in my signature line.
In this release I did not add two of the missing players recently posted here:
John O'Donnell 1884 and
Frank Quinlan 1891. In both cases I have not yet been able to verify the player identity.
I have not added many of the recent updates from baseball-reference, as I have found many player ID errors, which has made me hesitant to add images from B-R until I can individually verify the player ID.
