In 2023 apparently, the MLB decides to reduce the active roster size from 25 to 24. I don't really want to go into commish mode, and change it back (feels like I'm cheating).

However, I tried going to an 11 man pitching staff, but my team's ERA soared. Probably the result of an earlier rule change that extended the season to 166 games (approximately 10 years earlier). I decided I have to go to a 12 man staff, but that means I need more utility players. A result being that I had to trade off one of my more popular players because he wasn't very useful defensively.

Since I'm not going to change the rules. I was wondering what everyone else would do?
