After the first three games of the TU Final 4, manager Harry Buckley's Fairfax Frogs were on the brink of elimination with three defeats in a row, but now they are back in the series with two consecutive victories. Today Joe Hampton halted the Blue Jays 7-2 to cut the margin to three games to two. Now the Frogs have a fighting chance. Hampton was backed by a 12-hit attack, led by SS Wes Hickox (.357), RF Dane Wesner (.222), 2B Fran O'Brian (.378), C Cuz Irby (.302) and 3B Robby Franklin (.292), all of them had two hits apiece. Franklin drove in 3 runs, while Hickox and Wesner each scored twice. Hampton (1-1 3.38) hurled a strong game, stopping Tuckanarra on 6 hits and two runs with 4 strikeouts and one walk. Fairfax jumped all over Delaney Elliott (2-2 3.62) for 5 quick runs in the first two innings and dealt him the loss. The rest of the series will be played at Central Park Stadium in Tuckanarra.
